 WHY I PURCHASED:
Now I know we’re not all a fan of Cantu products.
With Cantu you never really know which product is a hit or a miss.
Let me be the first to tell you that this product is a …… HIT for thick hair gals only.

I purchased it because I am always in the market looking for a good, actually great deep conditioner to use on wash days. I love the ones that soften, strengthen, moisturize, and leave my curls popping. If I am shopping at my local beauty supply store and I see one, I usually take it up to look at It and see what’s popping. If the consistency is thick and white, I am sold.

So I thought, “Okay Cantu you have my coins”.
And so said, so done.
This is one of the deep conditioners that I purchase regularly for my curls.

The key is to apply it to damp hair.
You have to scoop it out, rub it between the palms of your hands to create the heat and make it more pliable. Then, apply to your tresses using the praying hands’ method to ensure each strand is coated thoroughly. Bun it up and let it sit for 30 minutes. After use, it feels my hair feeling soft and moisturized.

However, for my 4a curl friends with fine strands, they don’t like it.
They feel it’s too thick and weighs their curls down.

HOW IT LOOKS:
It’s a thick product with a sweet scent. Once it is applied to your tresses, it usually melts in.

WHAT I THINK:
LOVE for my 4b/4c gals.
It may not work for you if you have a fine strand as it is suited for my thick gals.
