 Hi my lovely friends, I have lovely women and super positive person  today on my blog.  I would like you to all meet Tolu she is taking over the ‘HAIR WHAT I’VE GOT TO SAY’ segment.

Introduce yourself, what do you do?

Hi my name is Toluwadunni, Tolu for short, Lu at shortest. I am a producer, natural hair artist and personality.

 

What’s the favourite thing you love about the work that you do?

I love that I have complete creative freedom to produce impactful stories, showcase and celebrate other people’s stories. As a natural hair artist, I love that I am trusted by beautiful black women to style their wonderful hair. As a personality, I am loving how I get to stare my fears straight in eye, find and fall in love with all parts of my personality that helps in delivering content.

Are you natural or relaxed?

I am natural. My hair colour and texture is also natural.

What are your go to products?

My go to products are cold pressed Castor oil mixed with grapeseed oil from fresh skin, Desula Naturals shea butter and Cantu Leave in conditioner.

What are your 3 top hair care tips?

Moisturise your hair regularly, have your moisture spritz ready at all time to quench your strands. Wear your hair in a protective style often to save your strands from weathering. Be in tune with your scalp, massage regularly.

Do you have a hair routine?

I have a weekly wash routine. I also moisturise my hair often and ensure that I have a satin bonnet to retain the moisture whilst sleeping.

Describe yourself in five words?

Creative,Quirky,Hardworking,Openminded, Positive

What helps give you inspiration/motivation?

Following positive and inspirational pages on Instagram such as rob sir hill, xonecole, thegoodquote and loads more. Listening to ted talks, having upbuilding family and friends. Lastly Helping and giving to others in various forms, time, gifts a compliment.

What are the top 3 things on your bucket list?

Travel often, start an incentive that will help young black girls and boys to excel in all aspects of their lives starting from within. Aiming for my online series and content to be received very well and to impact many families globally.

What made you laugh this week?

Reading the ‘how we met the bride’ stories from a new bridesmaid group chat that I’m in. As well as Drake falling over whilst roller skating ‘confidently’ on set
