Black Hair at the Golden Globes 2018 — From Honest Hair Diary

Everyone at the Golden Globes looked STUNNING! Black women are truly beautiful. It was also great to everyone dressed in black to support the #metoo movement. Of course I was paying close attention to everyone’s hair! Here are the ones that stood out to me the most!

We must start with Oprah

75th Annual Golden Globe Awards - Show

She posted on Instagram what she was doing with her hair for the evening, with her hair out. It looks as if her hair is natural but regardless it looks FULL & HEALTHY. If you have not seen that video please go to her page on Instagram because it is goals. It seems as if she colored her hair black (I’m guessing to cover grays) and straightened it. Her hair looked BOMB. Oprah’s hair has always been goals though, so lets not act like this is new.

Next we have Ava Duvernay

I do not appreciate Ava’s locs enough. I love the color, the size, and they’re so long and healthy. If I ever got locs this is how I want them to look. I also love this woman’s face, she is stunning.

Then we have my favorite Viola Davis

OK, doesnt this hair look so good on her? Secondly, doesn’t this look like my favorite Outre 4A Big Beautiful wig? It resembles it SO much. Its making me want to wear it right now. Viola has been rocking her natural hair to carpet events for a while now and she always looks great. I love her as an actress and her genuineness as a person always shines through whenever she does interviews.

Last but certainly not least Susan Kelechi Watson
