10 Steps
1.
Plait it
Make a plait out of bulk extensions that are similar to your own hair texture.
2.
Finished plait
Ensure the plait is long enough to wrap all the way around your head.
3.
Dry and lift
Blowdry your hair around the edges only so you retain volume in the centre. Then, pull it all up into the middle and secure with a band close to the end.
4
Mini plait
Braid the very end to keep all the hair together neatly.
5
Pull and push
Gently pull hair up, then push it down into the centre of the crown to create a doughnut shape.
6
Pin in
Carefully pin ends into place, keeping as much volume as possible in the rest of the style.
7
Neat edges
Use a little pomade around your hairline to smooth unruly baby hairs back into the style.
8
Bring the bouffant!
Take the prepared plaited section and wrap it around your head to create a bouffant-inspired updo.
9
Mist it
Lightly mist your ’do with holding spray and shine for a polished-looking finish.
10.
The finished look
Voila – a beautiful, head-turning updo!
